The City of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Region join forces with the „Forum de l’Engagement“

A multi-media platform designed to convey commitments, values, but also future projects and concrete actions led by economic and institutional players, the Commitment Forum contributes, with all of its members, to promoting the initiatives and innovations that bring progress in all areas of transition, and to build more trust between the economic world and the French in an uncertain context.

Since its creation in January 2012, the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis has been based on an attractive territory ranging from the shores of the Mediterranean to the peaks of Mercantour, bringing together 51 municipalities and more than 550,000 inhabitants. Anxious to adapt its territory to the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis we are going through, the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis has voted a Climate Plan whose goal is to achieve -55% gas emissions at greenhouse effect by 2030. The city of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis are pleased that the Forum de l’Engagement devotes a particular focus to the metropolitan territory, within a unique and personalized platform: www.nice.forum-engagement.org

The projects already launched, such as the greening of the city on a large scale and the sustainable development policy, and the new challenges to come, such as the decarbonization of mobility or the policy for the development of public spaces will be highlighted on this platform, in order to promote the commitment of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis at the national level.

The Commitment Forum, the City of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis thus invite all the actors of the territory, to exchange and share their commitments and their good practices at the crossroads of economy, ecology and social issues, in order to progress and help as many people as possible progress in the face of major current and future challenges.
