The Fairmont Monte Carlo celebrates the epiphany

At the Fairmont Monte Carlo, Pastry Chef Fabrice Didier has imagined a generous and gourmet galette des rois, to enjoy a convivial moment for the Epiphany around an iconic dessert.

At the start of the year, the celebrations continue in Monaco, around the traditional galette des rois with friends or family. Celebrated on January 6, Epiphany is a holiday that has several meanings but also several origins. But whatever its symbolism, this event is an opportunity to gather and share this dessert of kings, synonymous with comfort and sharing.
The Pastry Chef of the Fairmont Monte Carlo hotel, Fabrice Didier, was keen to offer an exceptional galette. And for that, nothing like taking the traditional pancake frangipane,which delights most of the gourmets.

Soft and crunchy shades and textures are there and appeal to young and old alike to indulge. His creation consists of a delicious puff pastry, a frangipane and almond cream. A true invitation to discovery, this galette is a taste ascension.
