The awards were organised by MIPCOM in collaboration with founding partner DiversifyTV, and in association with founding Presenting Partner A+E Networks, as well as returning Awards Partners Telefilm Canada, All3Media International and D.I.M.E.S., among other sponsors and supporting partner companies and organisations. This year also saw Netflix taking part as in the awards as a Presenting Partner.
This partnership also aligns perfectly with D.I.M.E.S. objective which is to partner with 1000 companies by 2030 in pursuit of equality in accordance with the requirements of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 10) which seeks to ensure that inequalities that manifest in the forms of racism and all types of discrimination are eradicated while promoting inclusivity that allows for the growth of all individuals throughout the industry and in the workplace.
The partnership with RX France is the first of many in the commitment to D.I.M.E.S. goals of eradicating inequality in the TV, Film, Music, Media, Entertainment and Sports industry. D.I.M.E.S. particularly aligns its current programs and initiatives towards SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Eguality), SDG 8 (Decent work and Economic Growth) and SDG 10 (Reduced inequalities). This is evident in the D.I.M.E.S. CSR 2.0, Empowerment Pact, D.I.M.E.S. Pledge, D.I.M.E.S. Connect, D.I.M.E.S. Master-class, and the D.I.M.E.S. TOP100 Awards.
