COVID 19 – ADOPTION OF ADDITIONAL MEASURES

The health indicators of the Alpes-Maritimes department are still
extremely worrying for several days. In particular, the incidence rate is
the highest in mainland France and now stands at 593 per 100,000
inhabitants.
Consequently, a first series of additional measures aimed at curbing the
spread of the COVID 19 epidemic was passed earlier this week after
consultation with the local elected officials of the department.
As the Prime Minister indicated, on Thursday, February 25, the containment measures
partial announced by the Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes last Monday are intended to be
duplicated in other territories. Consequently, decree n ° 2021-217, published
Today, this device acts and forms the basis of the prefectural decree published today.
In addition to the curfew measures that continue to apply, a
partial containment will be implemented on Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
February 27 and 28 and March 6 and 7, 2021.
During these periods, trips not justified by one of the exceptional reasons
will be banned. These derogatory grounds, for which the presentation of a
certificate is necessary (it will be downloadable in the afternoon on the application
all anti-covid and on the website of the Ministry of the Interior), concern
travel related to a professional activity or the purchase of supplies related to
the exercise of a professional activity; travel related to the purchase of products from
first necessity ; travel for medical reasons; motivated trips
by a compelling family motive; travel related to individual physical activity
and on leaving pets for a maximum of one hour and in
a radius of 5 km around the home; long distance trips and
travel from or to a place of worship. Holding ceremonies
religious matters remains possible according to the provisions already in force (article 47 of the decree
n ° 2020-1310 of October 29, 2020).
The area concerned by this measure extends over the coastal area of ​​the Alpes-Maritimes
(map attached). During periods of confinement, all shops located
in this coastal area, may not accommodate the public except for activities of
„Click and collect“.
However, some activities such as food shops, food stores,
DIY, pharmacies, optical stores, vehicle rentals or
equipment, telephone and computer stores, bookstores,
petrol stations, tobacco shops and garages will be able to welcome the public.
The precise list of authorized activities is fixed by the aforementioned decree n ° 2021-217.
Internal security forces are fully mobilized to ensure compliance
of these measures, as well as the state services in charge of monitoring
shops.
The prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes recalls that strict compliance with these measures, which
aim to protect the population, is absolutely necessary and calls for the
individual responsibility and the spirit of solidarity that does the honor of the maralpins.
