It will make its European debut at the Investment in Sustainable Development Forum, which starts today at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo.

The D12 ShowCar will be presented at the gala dinner of the 4th edition of the CC Forum on Friday, September 25, 2020 under the patronage and in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

During the dinner, Delage will present two revolutionary inventions in the field of energy saving, likely to have a major impact on the future of the automobile.

The Delage D12, described by its manufacturers as „the closest road-legal car ever conceived to a Formula 1“, will be back in Monaco at Top Marques, taking place from 9 to 13 June 2021 at the Grimaldi Forum.

It features two center seats in tandem configuration (fighter plane style), a 7.6L naturally aspirated V12 coupled to an electric motor to produce more than 1,000 hp (1,100 hp in the „GT“ version and 1,010 hp for 90kg less in the „Club“ version).

It will be produced in only 30 copies at the price of 2M EUR HT. 7 customers have already expressed an interest in purchasing, 2 of which have already paid a reservation deposit via the distributor Newport Beach Automotive Group.

In 2021, Delage customers will be invited to test the car on the circuit with the official Delage driver, F1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve. In the same year, Delage will attempt to break the Nürburgring circuit record in the road car category, making the D12 the fastest road car in the world.

The first customer cars will be delivered in the second half of 2022.

About Top Marques Monaco:
Billed “the most exclusive automobile show in the world” by the New York Times, Top Marques is an annual supercar event held in the heart of Monaco, the undisputed international capital of luxury.

Attended by many of the biggest names in the supercar and hypercar industry as well as a large number of niche independent manufacturers, Top Marques is the international automobile event to attend for those wanting to buy – or sell – the very latest models.

Under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco since its conception 17 years ago, the show has also become a unique event for all those interested in revolutionary innovations which will shape the transport of tomorrow.

The 17th edition of Top Marques will be held from June 9 to 13, 2021, in the Grimaldi Forum. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, this award-winning congress centre acts as the perfect venue for this exceptional automobile show.

Since the first edition in 2004, more than one hundred new models have made their debut on to the global supercar stage at Top Marques, with last year breaking all records. No less than 8 world premieres including the latest McLaren Grand Tourer and Aston Martin DBS Superleggera OHMSS were unveiled by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco on the opening day.

The show has also become synonymous with cutting-edge technology with many manufacturers from as far and as wide as Australia, America and the Far East choosing Top Marques as the launchpad for their ground-breaking inventions.

After an extremely successful first edition under the management of Monaco Check-In in June 2019, a new category dedicated to classic cars will be launched in 2021.

Founded in 2007 and managed by Salim Zeghdar, Monaco Check-In is one of the Principality’s leading receptive and event companies. Key events organised by Monaco Check-In include the 83rd Interpol General Assembly and the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie for the Prince’s Government. Monaco Check-In is also the receptive agency for the Société des Bains de Mer, the Monaco Yacht Show and the Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress.

Under the arm of Monaco Live Production, the company also organises Les Sérénissimes de l’Humour every Spring at the Grimaldi Forum; major concerts such as Robbie Williams, held to mark the 10-year reign of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the Eagles and Jean-Michel Jarre during the royal wedding in 2011, as well as Monaco events such as the Dior and Louis Vuitton fashion shows.
